HUBweek Closing Party 2016

Partnering with HUBweek again in 2016, Materials & Methods oversaw the production and creative direction of the closing event for the weeklong festival in October at "Brew the Charles." The Brew the Charles featured six breweries who crafted custom beers from water taken directly out of the Charles River and distilled by Desalitech. 

The event was held inside the SOWA power station, the site of the first ILLUMINUS Festival, and was open to the public.  The M&M team selected performing artists ranging from percussionists to funk banks to salsa and reggae. We created custom animations projected onto the stage surround and mapped to the interior of the vintage industrial structure, filling the space with light and sound and creating a festive atmosphere for the evening.
