BRING TO LIGHT FESTIVAL
Materials & Methods co-produced and provided technical direction for the second installment of Nuit Blanche NY’s “Bring to Light”in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
This open-to-the-public nighttime projection and light festival presented installations and performances by artists from Spain, Switzerland, Germany, France, Russia and the UK, alongside work by New York City’s most notable contemporary artists and emerging talent. Over 50 artists created site-specific installations of light, sound, performance and projection art. Crowds reached over 15,000 while a partnership with the East River Ferry connected the festival to Manhattan via high-speed service.
